Terms of Service
Last updated July 26, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Lobbyee. By creating an account, using a workspace, or completing an assessment, you agree to them. The short version: use the product honestly, your content stays yours, AI scores inform people and never replace them, and if you run hiring assessments you are responsible for hiring lawfully in your jurisdiction.
The service
Lobbyee provides AI role-play training for hospitality staff and AI-scored practice conversations for screening job candidates. Conversations and scores are generated by AI models. They are realistic, but they are simulations, and scores are automated estimates that can be imperfect. They are provided for coaching and decision support, not as professional, employment, or legal advice.
Accounts and acceptable use
- Keep your sign-in codes and invite links private.
- Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break tenant isolation, scrape other workspaces, resell access, abuse the AI endpoints, or use the product to harass anyone.
- You must be authorized to act for the business your workspace represents.
Trials and billing
The free trial includes a limited number of sessions and one hiring assessment, no card required. Paid workspaces are billed monthly through Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, at the price shown on the pricing page. You can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Session and assessment limits per plan are shown in the product.
Hiring assessments: employer responsibilities
If you use Lobbyee to screen job candidates, you are the employer and you own the hiring process. Specifically:
- A human decides. Assessment scores are decision support. You agree not to auto-reject candidates based on scores alone; a person on your team must review results and make each hiring decision.
- We ask where the job is, and we act on your answer. When you create an assessment we ask where the role is based. In places we are not yet equipped to serve, we will not let you create new assessments or send new candidate invites, though existing results stay readable and a candidate already part-way through can finish. Where we do allow it, we may show you a reminder of the obligations that apply to you as the employer. That reminder is not legal advice and it is not a statement that you are compliant. It is based only on the location you told us, which we do not verify.
- Local law is still on you. Employment and AI-in-hiring laws vary by location and change often. You are responsible for knowing and meeting the requirements that apply to your roles, including any required candidate notices, consents, audits, or record keeping. Our gate covers assessments only, and it does not cover the staff training features. On request we will export your assessment data to support your compliance work.
- Candidates are told the basics. Lobbyee shows every candidate that the conversation is an AI simulation scored by AI and that a person makes the decision. Any additional disclosure your jurisdiction requires is your responsibility.
- Use the data only for hiring. Candidate data is for evaluating that candidate for that role.
Your content
Your workspace content (guests, situations, transcripts, results) belongs to you. You give us the license needed to operate the service: storing your content, processing it through the AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy, and showing it to the people your workspace authorizes.
Availability and changes
Lobbyee is an early-stage product. We work hard to keep it up and to keep your data safe, but we don't promise uninterrupted service, and features may change. We'll communicate meaningful changes to workspace owners.
Termination
You can delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service, with notice where practical.
Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lobbyee is provided as is, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for hiring decisions you make, which remain yours.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding its conflict of law rules.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and notify workspace owners by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
